Nantucket Anniversary Party

One of the special things about visiting in August is the chance to celebrate Grandma and Grandpa's anniversary. This year we celebrated a bit early and in quite grand style. Once our numbers reached ten people for dinner, we were offered seating at the chef's table at 56 Union. It's a beautiful spot, separated from the other outside dining in its own garden tent. The food and service were exceptional, and it was particularly fun to have Evan as one of the servers. Everything was perfect, from the beautiful centerpiece, to the special scallop entrée that most of us ordered, to the super soft blankets provided on the back of every chair for when the evening cooled down. You'll see Grandpa especially enjoying that at the end of these photos.
