Pages 36-37 of the April/May issue of Dwell capture precisely why I like the magazine so much. Top left shows the Nissan Actic Concept Car the birthchild of a coupling between Nissan and Airstream, just the thing to keep my driving the USA in an Airstream trailer retirement plan alive. On the far right is a fabulous quilt by SushmaQuilts in East Palo Alto, whose colors and patterns will inspire my planned purchase of Flor rug tiles to lay under the dining room table. And best for last at bottom right is Le Pigeonner. NB: To actually get to the right place from this link, you must search by artist (in French, tri par artiste) for Matali Crasset. I must quibble with the assertion that it's the first-ever multifamily housing for pigeons, since we Trenton Street homeowners have been sharing our roofs and ledges with the birds for years. But if it works I want one, as long as I don't have to sacrifice a parking space to put it in.
