We took a quick weekend trip to NYC, arriving Saturday in time to help a bit with preparations for Minna's party. Sunday turned out to be a gorgeous fall day, warm and sunny, and just perfect for a noontime cookout in the backyard. Jason grilled dogs and brats, Mom's and Dad's picnicked on the grass, kids ran around and played around, and everyone celebrated a mighty nice first birthday with Minna.
