Mad River Redux

Today I'm back on the slopes, in my imagination at least. With the temperature at zero degrees, I replaced my city gloves with down ski gloves and Peter added his old blue ski hat with the pompon, becoming easily recognizable by the likes of Todd, Holly, Kristen, Andrea and Little David. When I tried to start the Jeep, the starter cranked and cranked before finally and thankfully turning over. But the clincher memory came right after I dropped Peter off. As I reached the Charlestown Bridge on my way back home, WXRV started playing 'Here Comes the Sun'. That's when I was heading across the Battleground covered bridge, up the mountain to the baselodge. Forgive me if I seem a bit far away today. I'll be in the Glades.
